    McIntosh XC S200 LCR Speaker


    McIntosh has released a new LCR speaker called the XC S200. The XC S200 is designed to mate with the company's XR200 speakers as a center channel, or it can serve as left, right, or surround speakers when positioned vertically. The enclosure is made from extruded aluminum and features a high gloss piano black front baffle. The sides are concave which resists standing waves. The driver complement consists of two 8" LD/HP woofers and McIntosh's signature multi-driver line array comprised of eight 2" titanium midrange drivers and five .75" titanium dome tweeters.

    Triad MicroSat 3.0 Onwall LCR Speaker


    There are plenty of options out there for a single LCR speaker to mount under your flat screen TV. Where Triad's new MicroSat 3.0 differs from the competition is customization. Triad will custom paint the MicroSat's cabinet to any sample color provided by the dealer. Additionally, while the standard cabinet is 32" wide, customers can order any width up to 65".

    Musical Fidelity’s Class A Monster


    Musical Fidelity has released a new flagship power amplifier called the AMS100 which sits at the top of their AMS range. The new AMS100 builds on the existing AMS50's unique bridged pure Class A design, and in addition to doubling the available power, it also ads a separate power supply for each half of the bridge, each with a dedicated dual bifilar choke regulator for noise rejection.

    Audi Q7 Concept Uses 62 Speakers


    The 19-speaker, 1400 watt Bang & Olufsen system in Audi's flagship A8 sedan is already one of the best factory sound system available, rivaled only by the top Burmester system in the Porsche Panamera and a few others. This hasn't stopped Audi from trying to reach new audio heights, as evidenced by a new Q7 concept developed with the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology.

    Orbitsound T12 V2 Surround Bar


    Great Britain's Orbitsound has released a new version of their T12 surround bar/subwoofer system, which is now called the T12 V2. Like the original, the T12 V2 uses Orbitsound's "spatial stereo" technology to provide an omni-like dispersion that the company claims is even throughout the room. The T12 V2 features a built-in iPod/iPhone dock, and also includes analog and optical/coaxial digital inputs and a mini-jack input.

    Davone Ray Speakers


    The new Ray speakers from a Danish company called Davone are about as far as you can get from the traditional rectangular two-way monitor. The shape and the walnut veneer seem like the perfect match for the famous Eames lounge chair, so if you have one of those in your listening room, the Rays may be the speakers for you.

    Bryston BDP-1 Digital Music Player


    Bryston has released a new digital music player called the BDP-1, which is designed to complement their BDA-1 DAC. The BDP-1 is a computer based music player which runs a Linux OS and uses a Bryston modified soundcard to output up to 24/192 signals via its BNC and AES/EBU digital outputs. The BDP-1 has no internal DAC or internal storage, and while it can connect to a network, it has no music streaming abilities. USB is the sole file delivery method.

    Conrad Johnson ET3 Preamplifier


    Conrad Johnson has released a new entry-level preamplifier called the ET3. The company claims that the ET3 is a scaled down version of their flagship GAT preamp, using a similar line-stage circuit comprised of a 6922 triode to supply voltage gain, and a MOSFET follower for ultra-low output impedance. The DC regulators and relay operated discrete level-control circuit are also very similar to those used in the GAT.

    Onkyo Releases High-end 3D Receivers


    Onkyo has followed up on the release of their entry to mid-level 3D equiped 2010 receivers with three new models which fill out the rest of the line: the TX-NR1008, TX-NR808, and TX-NR708. Each of the top line "08" models feature THX Select2 Plus certification, multi-zone support, network audio streaming, an iPod compatible front panel USB input, and of course, full HDMI 1.4a capabilities.
